10 Inspiring Personal Development Goals

Do you make personal goals?

Like really have a goal and work on it everyday to become a habit?

A personal story: Last year, I (Drea) realized that if I wanted to spend more time with my kids, without taking time away to work on Fit MOM business or study for my certifications - I needed to make a goal and habit of getting up early before they woke up. I was getting up at 5:30am. (My kids are crazy and wake up by 6am - or earlier πŸ™„). I quickly realized, that wasn't enough. The goal turned to 5am. Over a few weeks time of cutting back 10 minutes at a time, I got used to waking up at 5am. Well, I needed more.... 4:30am wake up is now my norm, but it took time - and I am a better mom with more time with them because of it! (In conjunction with this goal - I also go to bed by 9ish most nights too).

My story may seem crazy to you - but we each have to decide what is best for our personal situations and make a plan to become better at whatever we choose to do. Once my habit has established, I moved on to the next goal!

So, let's talk about you! There are so many ways to improve your life through personal development. Brit and I are very passionate about encouraging others to be their best - and personal development is a huge part of this!

We talked about SMART goals earlier this week.... apply that principle to these goals. TIP: Pick only ONE goal for now. Make a plan and do your best with it. You may need to modify or change the plan, but if you really want to see results or habit changes, it will take time to figure out what works best for you.

It can be overwhelming to think about, and maybe even foreign thinking to some - but making personal development goals and habits will improve your life!

These are pretty broad suggestions. Pick just ONE.
