Fit Moms - Prenatal Fitness

Ideal for moms who are pregnant, or want to get pregnant. Mom's who prefer a gentler exercise routine may attend as well. This class may be offered at any time in the year and be held indoors or outdoors based on interest.
Whether you are planning on getting pregnant soon, or you currently are, there is no better time than to start getting yourself in shape. Research shows that women who exercise before and/or during pregnancy tend to have more energy, sleep better, and lessen pregnancy symptoms (muscle cramps, swelling, constipation, etc). Women who exercise during pregnancy also see lots of benefits during labor, delivery and after.
Our classes offer you an opportunity to meet women at or beyond your stage of pregnancy. We want to help you connect and learn from each other. Our hope is that these classes will help you blossom lasting friendships and give you a supportive, non-judgmental group that you can bring your concerns and questions too.
The classes are designed by certified Pre and Post Natal Fitness instructors and we make sure the exercises are challenging, safe, effective and specifically designed for pregnant women of all stages. We will adjust the exercises to meet your needs and pregnancy stage. We incorporate bodyweight, strength and resistance training, core, and pelvic floor work in our classes to help strengthen and stretch the muscles within your changing body. All the exercises we do will help you during the labor and delivery process (vaginal or c-section) and help you bounce back faster after your baby arrives.
NOTE: If we don't have a Fit Moms class currently in session, ANY of our classes are safe for and welcome pregnant mothers.
