Ideal for moms who are pregnant, newly postpartum, and well beyond the baby stages! Caregivers and women without kids are welcome as well. This is our main winter/spring class, is approximately 45-60 minutes and is held indoors.
Active MOM invites all moms to join and stay active! Whether you are pregnant, just had a baby, or are beyond these stages, this class is for you! This class is held indoors and kids of all ages are welcome to attend. Bring your child(ren) to class and get a great workout while socializing with other moms.The workouts are safe and designed by certified Pre and Post Natal Fitness Instructors with the ultimate goal to keep you active and engaged with other moms and your kid(s).

Active MOM is an indoor class we hold in the winter/spring time frame. This is a great class to add to your schedule to get out of the house and meet up with like-minded moms! Think of us as an active playgroup!
Being an Example
We want to be a great example for our children. Active MOM can be a great start for you and your child's lifelong fitness goals!
Babies love watching their mommy workout! Not only does mom get a great workout, but we entertain and involve baby and turn our hour in to a learning time too! We welcome babies from 6 weeks and older.
Support and Fun
We are more than just a fitness class. We are moms supporting moms! There is something about being with other women, going through the motherhood journey together. We understand each other, and we can encourage and support each other like no one else can. We just get it, you know?
We understand that your body has been through many challenges and we help prepare and enhance the strength you have to get through the challenges ahead! The challenges that feeding, carrying baby, bending over, hauling kid "stuff" and the aches and pains of pregnancy are all new things that your body has or will have to get used to. We focus on strengthening the muscles you use most to make this transition a bit easier. If you are beyond the pregnancy and postpartum stages, all of the exercises will help you too!
Active MOM is a full body workout including strength, core, pelvic floor work, cardio intervals and resistance training using your body weight, baby, resistance bands, and other items. Babies and kids are actively involved during the workout and they have tons of fun with mom and each other! We will have some toys and a playpen for kids to enjoy, but feel free to bring your own toys (expect them to be shared!) and snacks as you wish.
Whatever your fitness level, we will welcome you! Exercises can be modified for your individual needs. Moms need to be at least 6 weeks (or 8 weeks c-section) postpartum as long as they have a verbal ok from their doctor. Pregnant moms are welcome to come as well. If you have worked out previously to becoming pregnant, you may come anytime. If you have not been active prior to pregnancy, please wait until your second trimester to join us.
